Georgia Residents

Need Based Financial Aid

To apply for any Federal Program including Pell Grants and Federal Student and/or Parent (PLUS) loans you must:

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal FAFSA or the FAFSA on the web at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

You must include Berry's Title IV code '001554' in order for Berry to receive an electronic copy of the results.  Follow the directions carefully.  Mistakes will delay your financial aid award.  Be sure to use completed federal income tax return figures.  Submit your FAFSA to the federal processors via mail or the internet.  USING ESTIMATED TAX INFORMATION WILL DELAY YOUR AWARD.  After your FAFSA has been processed, you will receive your Student Aid Report (SAR).  Please review it carefully for accuracy.  If corrections are necessary, follow the instructions on the SAR.  The SAR will also give you instructions for submitting the corrections to the federal processors.  Keep all paper copies you receive for your records.

NOTE:

APRIL 1 is the PRIORITY DATE for having all forms to the financial aid office to receive full consideration for all grants, loans, scholarships and work.

If your financial aid file is not complete by this date, you may not receive any Berry grants or scholarships. You may review the status of your financial-aid file via rhe Online Financial Aid at Berry web site: https://financialaid.berry.edu.

Paperwork received after April 1 will be considered only on a funds available basis.  This includes all Berry scholarships and grants.
