Health and Wellness Center

The Health and Wellness Center promotes optimal wellness in students by modifying or removing health-related barriers to learning, enabling individuals to make informed decisions about health-related concerns and empowering students to be self-directed consumers of health-care services.

The goals of the Health and Wellness Center are consistent with maintenance of confidentiality provided in a caring comfortable atmosphere.

Required Student Information

All Berry College students are required to have certain information on file at the Health and Wellness Center. This information includes a Health History and Self-Report; and a complete immunization record. Without this information, students will not be permitted to register for their classes in the semester following their enrollment. In addition, all resident students are required by Georgia law to receive the meningococcal meningitis vaccine, or sign a waiver stating their understanding of the requirement, but expressing a choice to decline the vaccine. Students who are commuters are exempt from the meningitis requirement.

Health Insurance is strongly recommended for each student.  Please refer to the Health and Wellness Center home page for links to sites that can help you sign up for private health insurance or options available through the Affordable Care Act.
