Class Descriptions 

Berry Boot Camp

This is a high intensity class that combines cardio and strength training intervals utilizing a variety of equipment and techniques. The instructor will change the class format to keep you body challenged, guaranteeing maximum fitness results. (1 hour class)  


Spinning is the original group cycling class. Torch up to 40 calories per minute on your bike with no complicated moves to learn. Regardless of your fitness level, you'll get a heart pounding, low impact workout. (45 minute class) 


Designed by a Navy SEAL as a go anywhere workout, this set of nylon straps creates resistance from two sources always at your disposal: body weight and gravity. Lock the straps onto any elevated fixture - a pullup bar, door, or tree branch - and you'll unlock new dimensions in your training. Resistance can be adjusted from 5 percent to 100 percent of body weight by changing the incline of your body. (1 hour class) 


Develops strength and flexibility while keeping your body, mind, and spirit rejuvenated. Increases balance, focus, and through breathing techniques, energizes the body and internal organs. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat or towel. (1 hour class) 


Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students. (1 hour class). This Summer, Berry College is offering a Zumba class from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Water Workouts

To register or for more information regarding the Water Workout Classes taught by Donna Young call 256-475-2664. There is a fee required. (1 hour class) 

Please note that this class will be sharing the pool with lap swimmers.
