Taylor Patterson, Campus Visit Coordinator
Hometown: Lilburn, Georgia
Thank you for your interest in
Berry! Upon graduating from Berry in May of 2013, I joined the Enrollment
Management team as the administrative assistant to our Vice President. I
was given the opportunity to move over to the Office of Admissions in the
spring of 2014, where I currently serve as the Campus Visit Coordinator.
I grew up in Lilburn, Georgia, and
graduated from Parkview High School. During my junior year of high school, I
visited Berry and immediately fell in love with the campus. I found
myself comparing all of the other schools I was looking at to Berry, and when
the time came to make my final college decision, I was unable to picture myself
anywhere but here.
My involvements as a student at
Berry included the Empower and Psych Society. I also served as a Presidential
Ambassador and took advantage of volunteer opportunities in the Rome community.
All of these different clubs and organizations here on campus provided me with
numerous ways to get involved in the Berry community; however, my favorite part
of being a student was my own campus job. I worked in the Office of Admissions
all four years, and I loved every minute of it. I worked as a
receptionist for 2.5 years and was then given the opportunity to act as the
Student Director. As a management major, the opportunity to supervise my peers
in a work setting was an invaluable experience.
As one can see, Berry holds a
special place in my heart, and I am unbelievably grateful for the opportunity
to share Berry with others. I encourage you to come and visit our gorgeous
campus and discover your own love for Berry College!
