Incoming freshmen SOAR into Berry this month with an exciting
two-day orientation session made just for them.
Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) is a program
that introduces freshmen and transfer students to life and work at Berry and to
one another. New
students have the opportunity to learn their way around, make new friends and
meet their freshmen advisers before classes start this fall.

their students participate in icebreaker games and ask current students
questions about college. Many students said a big part of their decision to
attend Berry was influenced by the on-campus student Work Experience Program,
as well as the opportunities they would have to take classes relevant to their
interests. New students are excited about starting classes in August.
