The following papers were presented at the Academy of Business Education Conference
(Thursday, September 13 - Charleston, SC)  Publication Opportunities for Undergraduates:  The Undergraduate Business and Economics Research Journal  with Allie LeFeuvre, Berry College and Tomas A. Dr. Lauren Heller wins awards
Dr. Lauren Heller, professor of Economics in the Campbell School of Business, was awarded both the SGA Faculty Member of the Year and the Elena M. Garrett Award for Meritorious Advising at the recent Honors Convocation.

Honors Convocation 2013

Honors Convocation was held Thursday, April 11, 2013.  The following students were awarded:

  • CSOB Outstanding Student: Caitlyn Sawyers
  • Dr. Gordon L. Foy Award:  Allie LeFeuvre
  • J. Wilson Mixon, Jr Outstanding Senior in Economics:  Lisa Anders
  • Georgia Society of CPAs:  Kevin Elston
  • Hillary Anderton was a triple recipient of the O. Wayne Rollins Student Work Award. She was nominated by her supervisors in the Cage Center, Latin American and Caribbean Studies and CSOB.

Dr. Paula Englis
Dr. Paula Englis, professor of management, has two co-authored publications this spring, "The impact of knowledge capabilities on corporate venturing," in the International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business, and "Scientific team effectiveness and the external CEO: A study of biotechnology university spin-offs," in Industry and Higher Education journal.
