The most often and frequently asked questions the M.B.A. office is delighted to answer are the following:

1. What is the tuition of a M.B.A. class?

Tuition is $403 per Credit Hour.

2. How often do respective classes meet?

During the Spring and Fall Terms the classes meet one night a week from Monday - Thursday from 6.00 - 8.45pm.
During the Summer Term classes usually meet one night a week from Monday - Thursday from 6.00 - 9.30.

3. What is the deadline of the application process?

The application process should start at the latest 30 days prior to the semester which is December 1st for the Spring, April 15th for the Summer, and July 15 for the Fall. All materials must be in 7 days prior to the semester start.

4. What is needed for the application?

The application includes all academic transcripts, 2 reference forms, the GMAT score, a personal statement about the individual goals entering the Berry M.B.A. program, a $25 application fee, and a resumee.

5. What are the minimum entry requirements?

Usually a GMAT score of 400 is required in order to be eligible for the M.B.A. Program. Also, an Undergraduate GPA of 3.0+ is preferred. However, for Undergraduate degrees that are older than 5 years different standards apply. For further information please contact the M.B.A. offices.
Please, do also consider to schedule the GMAT in advance since it takes 2 weeks for the GMAT scores to be reported to Berry College.

6. Where can I take the GMAT?

The GMAT test centers that are closest to the location of Berry College, Rome, Georgia are the Pearson Professional Test Centers in Chattanooga (TN), Antlanta North and South (GA), Decatur (AL), and Birmingham (AL). For further information contact the M.B.A. offices or click on www.mba.com.

7. Is a prior work experience required?

A prior work experience of 2-5 years is preferred. If not, an internship is strongly encouraged.

8. What if my Undergraduate degree is not business?

In order to enter the Berry College M.B.A. program a business major is not required. However, non business majors have to complete 18 hours proficiency work at the graduate level. For more information see the M.B.A. curriculum.

9. Is an M.B.A. thesis required?

There is no M.B.A. thesis required in order to complete the M.B.A. program.

10. How many transfer credits does the M.B.A. Program accept?

The Berry College M.B.A. program accepts up to 9 credit hours of transfer credit (3 classes).

11. Is financial aid available?

12. How much time does a student have to complete the M.B.A. program?

The average amount of time to complete the 30-hour program is 24 months. The program has a flexible schedule that allows students to take 1-3 courses per semester depending on professional and personal commitments. A student may take up to six years to complete the program requirements.
