VISION STATEMENT
Rationale
This statement asserts how the faculty wishes the Campbell School of Business to be seen by its stakeholders, within the context of Berry College 's statement of the College's vision.
The principal stakeholders of the Campbell School of Business are (a) those who seek the benefit of education , either directly as students and alumni, or indirectly as employers, (b) members of the public and private sectors , including regional businesses and non-profit organizations, and (c) the academic community , both at Berry College and outside.
Seekers of Education: The Campbell School of Business will be recognized by seekers of education as a welcoming, student-oriented institution that places high priority on educational preparation for graduates' careers through education of the Head, the Heart, and the Hands.
Employers: The Campbell School of Business will be recognized by employers in the north Georgia and beyond, as a source of well-educated graduates and as a center for satisfying educational needs of their employees.
Public and Private Sectors: The Campbell School of Business will be recognized by the public and private sectors and by profit-driven and not-for-profit institutions as a valuable source of information, knowledge, and research capability.
The Academic Community: The faculty of the Campbell School of Business will be seen as active members of the academic community at large, and respected for the intellectual contributions they make to both theory and practice of the various disciplines of business administration and economics.
The College: The Berry College academic family will view the Campbell School of Business as a willing and active participant in efforts to achieve the benefits of interdisciplinary cooperation.
Vision
The Campbell School of Business will achieve recognition as an integral part of north Georgia 's social and economic fabric by providing excellent education for its students and exemplary services in the region and beyond.
