Christine Puckett received her Bachelor's of Music
degree from Berry College. She later went on to get her a
Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Specialist's
Degree in Elementary Education and School Administration from
the University of West Georgia. She came to Berry from
Glenwood Elementary School where she served as principal for
the last six years.
Before being principal of Glenwood,
she spent 17 years in the classroom during which time she taught
music, middle school language arts, and grades 2, 3 and 5. She
spent several years working for the state Board of Education
in the NW Georgia Regional Assessment Center as a classroom
evaluator before going into school administration with an emphasis
in curriculum and instruction. She lives in Rome with her husband,
Dr. Robert Puckett. They have two sons, Rob and Ben. She is
excited to be part of the Berry College Elementary School learning
community.
Her personal mission at this time is
to listen, to learn, to love and to lead. Her professional
mission is to help provide conditions for optimum academic,
social, physical and spiritual growth in a happy school
setting.
