Charter School of Education Graduate Programs
The purpose of the Berry College Graduate Education program is to serve the needs of the surrounding community by providing a high-quality education in:
- Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) - major in ECE, MG and Secondary
- M. Ed - major in ECE, MG, Curriculum & Instruction, and Reading
- Ed.S. - major in Curriculum and Instruction and Education Leadership
- Endorsements - ESOL and Reading
Opportunities provided allow candidates to improve their professional competencies as “Developers of Human Potential.” In keeping with the college’s mission of educating the head, the heart, and the hands, the graduate program helps individuals become master teachers through the study of current and original research, through exploration of their collective and individual wisdom of experience, and through provision of opportunities to reflect upon their values.
The goal of this program is to develop teachers who are reflective decision makers, who have the knowledge base and skills to facilitate their own and their students’ learning, and who value individuals and their cooperative roles in society. Click here to apply to the graduate program.
New candidates are not being admitted in Middle-grades MAT or M.Ed. programs at this time. If you are interested in these programs please contact mwillingham@berry.edu
