This class is for those who have ever been curious about the attraction and challenges associated with vertical environments. The basics of equipment, knots, anchors, climb site management, minimum impact, belay techniques, and the fundamentals of top rope climbing will be introduced. Classes meet on campus and travel to climb sites within an hour of Berry College. Designed for the beginning climber, there is a requirement to travel to some climb sites on your own. Other than clothing for personal comfort, all equipment is provided. A special class schedule and fee are required.
