Custom Programs for Businesses and Groups

The Berry Outdoor Leadership Development (BOLD) Program designs custom leadership training courses for educational, corporate, college, and church groups, and sports teams. Berry College has provided educational challenge course activities for more than 20 years.

Specializing in professional development programs, BOLD staff members start by conducting an organizational needs assessment and work closely with the client to design a training agenda that fits the client's schedule, budget, and goals.

Business meetings, for example, can become fun and exciting learning experiences by incorporating BOLD's short, demonstrative, indoor problem-solving activities. In addition, BOLD offers extended corporate adventures that can include the ropes course, hiking, canoeing, or a variety of other challenging activities. All BOLD programs are designed to help groups function more efficiently and to enhance the team's potential by developing teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Complementing BOLD's unique training techniques is the setting for most programs—the extraordinary Berry College campus. One of the largest in the world, the utopian 26,000-acre campus features rolling hills, forests, streams, and wildlife such as turkey and deer. An operational dairy, equestrian center, Swan Lake, and Oak Hill and The Martha Berry Museum are just a few of the unique places visitors can enjoy while on campus. Cabins and historic guest cottages are also available for overnight guests.
