
Department of Kinesiology (KIN) General Education

All Berry College students are required to complete 54 hours of credit in General Education, including a 3-credit Kinesiology component.
The 3-credit requirement in KIN is completed as follows:
* Students complete one of the following four courses (1 credit)
- HPE 220 (First Aid)
- HPE 221 (Survey of Wellness)
- HPE 222 (College Health Topics)
- HPE 223 (Self-Defense for Women)
* Students complete two activity courses from the list below (2 credits)
Please note that HPE 221 can be counted as an activity course (but the student will have to complete either 220, 222, or 223). Also, a maximum of four HPE activity courses can be counted toward degree requirements.
