Major and Minor Requirements













Psychology Major

The major in Psychology requires a total of 44 hours.

The following courses are required:

PSY 101 Introduction to Psychology

PSY 370 History and Systems of Psychology

Subtotal 17 Hours

 

Plus at least three or four of the following courses:

PSY 207 Psychology of Personality

PSY 221WI Life-Span Developmental Psychology

PSY 318 Abnormal Psychology

minimum 9 hours



and at least one course from:

PSY 405WI Learning

Psychology Minor

The minor requires that a student take PSY 101 and 15 semester hours of psychology electives relevant to the student's interest and major curriculum, for a total of 18 semester hours.
