English Minor
A Minor in English consists of 18 semester credit hours, nine of which must be taken at the 300- or 400- level.
Writing Minor
The Writing Minor allows students to gain experience and skills in four broad areas: creative writing, journalistic writing, expository writing, and technical writing. Introductory and advanced courses are offered in poetry and fiction as well as basic and advanced courses in journalism. Most classes are small, focusing on student work and revisions. Craft in writing and creativity in thought are sought and supported throughout the program. A minor consists of 18 hours.
