Priscilla Wilson
Priscilla Wilson describes the writing of her memoir, Gourd Girls, as one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. A 'south Georgia cracker' from Valdosta, Priscilla graduated from Auburn University in 1972 with a B.A. in English and joined the ranks of floundering English majors, briefly trying out two careers before starting Gourdcraft Originals in northeast Georgia in 1976. Gourd Girls recounts her journey into the gourd life, both real and metaphorical, with Janice Lymburner, her life partner of 38 years. Priscilla is deeply grateful for the movement of the Creative Force in her life.
