I have been working with clay since 1967, when I was an undergraduate student. Over the years I have made pottery, wall reliefs and sculpture. I believe that "technique serves idea", so if I have an idea that needs to be expressed with a particular medium, or combination of media or materials, I use whatever is necessary. An example would be the use of photographic images on ceramic objects.
