Stan Pethel, Professor and Chair of Fine Arts

Peabody College for Teachers of Vanderbilt

Dr. Pethel teaches trombone and tuba lessons, music theory, composition and arranging, and directs the brass ensembles and the Berry Bones. Dr. Pethel is also widely published composer and arranger of music.

John E. Davis, Professor
B.M., M.M. San Francisco State University, D.M.A. University of Arizona
Dr. Davis directs the Berry Symphonic Band, Flute Choir and Saxophone Ensemble. He teaches flute and saxophone lessons, music history and related courses. He is a noted arranger of music for woodwind ensembles and serves as faculty advisor to Phi Mu Alpha men's music fraternity.

Adam Hayes, Artist-in-Residence
B.A., University of Georgia; M.M., University of New Mexico; University of Cincinnati.
Mr. Hayes is the professor of trumpet and horn, and directs the Berry Jazz Ensemble. Mr. Hayes also teaches music theory and various departmental courses. He is active as a performer and clinician.

Ruth Baker, Lecturer

Mrs. Baker teaches voice lessons, music appreciation, and music for teachers. She is an active vocal performer and adjudicator.

Kris Carlisle, Assistant Professor
B.M., Redlands University; M.M., San Francisco Conservatory; D.M.A., Claremont Graduate University.
Dr. Carlisle teaches piano lessons, piano classes, and related courses. He is an active accompanist and solo performer on piano.

Harry Musselwhite, Lecturer and Director of Choral Activities
B.M., University of Georgia; M.M., Indiana University.
Mr. Musselwhite teaches voice lessons and directs the Berry Concert Choir and the Berry Singers. He is active throughout the Southeast as an operatic bass, a choral conductor, and adjudicator.

Mr. Enloe teaches classical guitar lessons and guitar related courses. He is an active performer and recitalist on guitar.

Glenn Garrido, , Associate Professor and Director of Bands

Dr. Garrido directs the Berry College Symphonic Band and teaches
music education related courses. He also supervises student teachers. He is an active guest conductor and adjudicator in the state.

Mirna Ogrezovic-Ciric , Adjunct Professor
Artist Diploma, Belgrade University;M.M., Georgia State University;University of Georgia.
Ms. Ciric teaches violin and viola and is assistant director of the Oak Hill Symphony. She is an active performer on violin.

Mickey Fisher , Adjunct Professor B.S., M. Mus. Ed., Austin Peay State University.
Mr. Fisher teaches applied clarinet and double reeds lessons. He is an active performer with area musical ensembles and a former member of the Chattanooga Symphony Orchestra.

Ms. Camp teaches cello lessons and courses related to orchestra literature. She is active as a member of local ensembles and as a recitalist in the area.

Wade Williams, Adjunct Professor B.M., Berry College, M.M. West Georgia College and State University.
Mr. Williams teaches percussion lessons. He is Band Director at Rome Middle Schools and active as a performer and adjudicator.
