Music Degrees at Berry
Music Education - Students pursue a program of study leading to state certification for grades K-12 in choral and instrumental music. The state certification test must be passed. Courses include music theory, music history, all instrumental methods, conducting, music education, private lessons, education courses, student teaching, and the general-education core. Bachelor of Arts in Music - Students pursue a program of study leading to graduate school enrollment in music performance. Courses include music theory, music history, specialized music literature, conducting, private lessons, and the general-education core with an emphasis on musical performance.
