Berry College Theatre Company
Community Service
Throughout the academic year the Berry College Theatre Company participates in community-service projects in order to give back to the community that has given us so much. The club participates annually in SGA-sponsored activities such as participating in the Halloween Carnival for the children of the college community, and adopting a Christmas Angel from the Rome community. BCTC has independently sponsored short, thematic productions for the local schools and nursing homes throughout the year. BCTC also annually sponsors "Hey Day!"
Hey Day!
Traditionally on the second Friday in the spring semester, "Hey Day!" and the "Hey Day! Dance" offer the college community a chance to learn the names of people they have seen around campus. BCTC distributes "Hey Day!" name badges to the college community during the week and encourages all to wear their name badges on "Hey Day!" That night, the theatre is transformed into a dance hall for the dance.
For any information on BCTC's service activities, feel free to contact the theatre or any of the club's officers.
