Short Bio:
DR. VINCENT GRÉGOIRE is a native of Mansigné, France, and Professor of French. He holds a M.A. degree in history from the Université François Rabelais, Tours, France, and received his PhD in French literature from Rutgers University. He has published extensively on 17th century French literature, on missionary correspondence in 17th century New France, and is the author of a book on Camus's Novels. Dr. Gregoire’s research interests range from Jean Racine, 17th century French history, literature, theater, education, and the topic of evangelization by Jesuits and Ursulines in New France, to Albert Camus, Sartre, Saint-Exupéry, and WWII.
