The Berry College Politics and Law Society
The Politics and Law Society (PALS) is a vibrant and relatively new club that
has already made a significant impact on the Berry Campus. It is open
to all majors. Its activities have included holding debates on political
issues, contributing to Constitution Day activities,
helping sponsor
nationally-recognized conferences at Berry, organizing several
get-out-the-vote registration drives, publishing journals on political
issues drawn chiefly from student writings, conducting mock LSAT exams,
inviting speakers to come to campus, and
sponsoring special screenings
of politically relevant films. .jpg)
No college club should be all work and
no play, and PALS is no different. PALS has held bowling parties, gone
on trips to Atlanta to see plays by Shakespeare, organized picnics for
Government and International Studies majors, and held pizza parties.
