History + Global Issues


Students major in History; minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, International Studies, or a Foreign Language; and study or complete an internship abroad. History + Global Issues prepares students for success in careers in intelligence analysis, diplomacy, foreign service, international business, travel services, and global logistics.

Requirements

(46-61 Hours)
  • Major in History (36 Hours)
    • Must include on addition non-U.S. history elective
  • Minor in a French, German, or Spanish (9-21 hours), International Studies (18 hours), or Latin American and Caribbean Studies (18 hours)
    • HIS 402: History + X (1 hour) 
    • Complete study abroad or internship abroad (3 hours)
    • Optional campus job in Multicultural Student Affairs Office, International Programs, or Volunteer and Community Services
