The Department’s Philosophy society is an unofficial gathering every week to discuss some predetermined topic area. Past topics have included both the general “timeless” problems of philosophy, such as the nature of love, beauty, reason et cetera. as well as questions about what philosophy itself is, War Theory, paradoxes, and communication across not just cultural, but moral lines of contention.
It is currently headed by Dr. Joel Schwartz ( firstname.lastname@example.org )
Times are decided in the beginning of the semester.
