Communication

The line between academics and hands-on learning experiences blur for communication majors at Berry College. Our program integrates a strong academic program led by highly qualified professors with first-rate co-curricular activities that include a nationally recognized yearbook, an award-winning student newspaper, an on-campus television station and a competitive speech team that consistently ranks among our nation’s best. Additionally, students have the option to earn while they learn through a variety of internship opportunities and on-campus major-related jobs. As a result, our students graduate with excellent preparation for a career or graduate work in communication. We stress breadth over specialization. Thus, our communication program is designed to cross-train you in writing, editing, design, speaking and video production. The aim of our convergent curriculum is to prepare you to cope with the digital communication demands of the 21st century.
