Studio Art
The art department provides an education in a philosophical context within which students possesing artistic promise and strong motivation can explore the horizons of their own talents. In the midst of an extraordinarily beautiful natural environment, students experience on going intense critical dialogue and receive artistic direction. The art faculty are here to kindle students’ desires to learn and to develop unique insights. Students will develop graphic skills, drawing, design, painting, computer imaging, and a sense of compositionThe studio art concentration courses include ceramics, painting, web design, photography, and printmaking. Seniors present a one-person exhibition for their senior thesis at the Moon Art Gallery.
