Dr. Wilson,
I just wanted to thank you for your excellent instruction at Berry and for preparing me so well for Vet school. Your Equine Evaluation class continues to help me daily in Gross Anatomy. I also feel very blessed to have a sound understanding about Genetics of Livestock Improvement and Feeds and Rations. So many of my fellow colleagues are CLUELESS about genetics and feeds. I don't understand how they fully comprehend all of the material while not knowing anything about the daily maintenance and survival of food/large animals. Many cannot see past their "need" to TREAT a single animal from a herd instead of concentrating on the much more important GENETICS involved in a disease manifestation, whether it concerns genetic resistance to disease or predisposing genetic factors for a disease. Berry college alumni definitely have a GREAT advantage over the rest of the class. Steve Hathcock and Sean Adams are my roommates, and they are both TOP students in their classes.
