Faculty in each of our departments are committed to providing a solid education from the wealth of their own expertise. We provide a current and well-balanced curriculum, ample opportunities for inquiry beyond the classroom, and challenge and encouragement to students who are striving to gain a foothold on their futures. The number of majors is small enough that faculty members are able to give individual attention to their students. More than 95% of our faculty have the highest attainable degree in their fields. Many are recognized internationally as authorities in their scientific disciplines.

In addition to learning a basic foundation in their areas of educational interest, Berry students learn how to reason analytically and clearly, communicate their ideas in oral and written form, and make informed and morally sound choices. The faculty and staff in each of our departments dedicate themselves to achieving these results.
