Immunology and parasitology, primarily focusing on host/parasite immune interactions and exploitation of the host defense mechanisms by the parasite; vaccine delivery strategies specifically, the role of dendritic cells in parasite antigen presentation to immune effector cells to increase resistance and immunological memory.
