Foundation for International Education

Location FIE is located in London, home to seven million, and a major political, economic, and cultural center. The National Art Gallery, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey are only a few of the many intriguing sites to see. London is also known for having more parks and gardens than any other capital in the world. The center is located in the heart of London, giving students easy access to all that London has to offer.

Program of Study FIE provides students with internship opportunities and academic courses in London. Students normally take three or four academic courses and also participate in an internship. FIE offers a range of academic courses, from history to communications to sociology. During the last 8 weeks of the semester, students work for at least three days a week at a British or multinational business or organization.

Living Arrangements Housing is located close to the FIE study center in the Kensington district of London. Options range from one- to four-bed rooms, most with en suite bathrooms. Accommodations include television, internet, kitchen facilities, and a weekly cleaning service. Students may also use the Center's computer lab, which houses 32 open-access computers.

Costs Students pay Berry College semester tuition.  Current housing costs are $4950, which does not include meals.  There is an insurance fee of $150.  All prices subject to change; other fees may apply.

Eligibility Students must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors with a 2.75 minimum GPA.

Additional Information FIE leads an on-site orientation for program participants. This includes a tour of London and a theatre visit.
