Two
hours away from Berlin, Germany (via Autobahn) resides the small,
medieval-based town of Quedlinburg. This small, but culturally immersed German
community allows visitors and locals alike to experience a close-knit,
traditional German lifestyle along with remnants of medieval history. A tour of
the town would not be complete without a traditional horse drawn carriage ride,
a treat of Spaghettieis at one of their gelato cafés, or making the trek up a
high elevated plateau to a 12
th Century cathedral at the upper end
of town.
