In the month of July, I traveled to the country of
Argentina to put my Spanish skills to the test and immerse myself in another
culture. Before the trip, I had been to other countries in Latin America;
however, Argentinean culture is like none I had experienced before. One of the
cultural aspects that I was introduced to in Argentina was the tango. To see
tango in action, you can go to a dinner and show or dance club, or you can just walk in the streets of Buenos
Aires. Tango has evolved throughout the years and illustrates the history and
changing times of Argentina. If you go to Argentina, you must take a tango
lesson at least once to immerse yourself in Argentinean culture.
