In Córdoba, Argentina culture is the beauty of a community of people that seeks to make the well being of others the top priority. It is the openness that I was received with, the way people genuinely wanted to get to know me and to build a lasting relationship with me, and the countless times homes were opened to me to have dinner or drink mate. That is what culture is in Argentina, and what won my heart over in Córdoba. Córdoba has so much beauty to offer, but it is not the city itself that makes it beautiful. It’s the people, the community that I was surrounded by that made it beautiful. This is all to say that the beauty of this sunrise in barrio Alberdi behind el Nuevo Centro de Shopping describes what culture is in Córdoba, a time of beauty that I certainly will never forget.
