Many classes of different varieties are offered through this program. Each class is an equivalent of 3 credit hours at Berry College, and Berry students are required to take two 3-hour classes. Classes will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays. Required fieldtrips take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each credit is considered a Berry College Credit, not transient credit.
Students share double rooms in the Akademie Hotel, located in a quiet neighborhood with access to nearby public transport. A tv and private bath are included with the room.
The program includes breakfast everyday, as well as lunch and dinner on class days.
$5300; this includes roundtrip airfare, lodging, 9 meals per week, a health insurance policy, guided tours of Berlin, an unlimited travel pass on the metro-railway and bus systems in Berlin. There is a $100 per credit hour charge in addition to the program fee. Students pay the $5300 program fee directly to the EC; Berry College bills the students for the $100 per credit hour fee. Students should budget $1500 for additional meals and personal expenses.
