Living Arrangements
GlobaLinks students are guaranteed pre-arranged accommodation with or without meals at UQ. The university offers accommodation in fully catered residential colleges to students studying at the St. Lucia campus. This housing option offers single bedrooms in co-ed or single-gender living environments. Students also have the option to live in pre-arranged self-catered, single or share bedroom apartments located within blocks of the university.
Costs
Students pay Berry tuition, which includes 3 to 4 classes, university administrative fees, membership in the student union (where applicable), ISIC Premium (International Student Identity Card), 25% Lonely Planet Book discount; also included is a 6-day Bridging Cultures Program in Tropical Cairns, Australia. Housing with meals costs approximately $6,285 - $8,495, without meals approximately $2,505 - $6,390. The Australian student visa is about $400.
Eligibility
Required GPA 3.0/4.0. As a study abroad student, you will be required to enroll as a full time student. Your semester is equivalent to 12-16 U.S. credits.
