Seville, Spain
The Center for Cross Cultural Study (CC-CS)

Location CC-CS is located in Seville, Spain. It is a beautiful town with a crowded centre full of narrow streets and small squares. Its flamenco, bullfighting and nightlife are unparalleled. Every April, Seville throws one of Spain 's biggest parties, the Feria de Abril. A couple of weeks before the feria, the city has Semana Santa (Holy Week) processions that are among the most splendid in Spain.
Program of Study The Center for Cross-Cultural Study offers a US-modeled curriculum with a wide variety of course offerings. Students take upper division classes in Spanish language, literature, history and society. They are encouraged to attend the January term if studying spring semester. Qualified students may take courses with Spanish students at the University of Seville or complete an internship.
Living Arrangements Berry students live with a family at a homestay, where the student becomes a part of a traditional Spanish family. Homestays include full room and board as well as laundry and the cleaning of the student's room. The Center regularly inspects the homes to ensure that it provides a warm and tranquil environment.
Costs Students pay Berry College semester tuition. Current semester room and board prices are $3360 and insurance costs $292. Click here for an estimated semester budget. For January plus spring terms, room and board costs $4200 and insurance is $365. Visa cost for US citizens is $100.
Eligibility Students are required to have a minimum 3.0 GPA in Spanish coursework. Students who enroll in the Upper-Division Program are required to have completed at least one 300-level Spanish class at Berry.
Attention! Studying in Spain requires a visa. Students are encouraged to make an appointment with the Spanish consulate in Miami as soon as possible, as appointments fill early. It is necessary for the student to submit visa documents in person at the Miami consulate. Berry College is not responsible for obtaining the visa for students.
