Thank you for your interest in Berry College! I graduated in May 2016 from Huntingdon College with a degree in Communication Studies. After working as an Educational Leadership Consultant for Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity for a year, I decided I wanted to start a career in Higher Education which brought me back to Berry College.

I fell in love with Berry College as a college freshman when I visited the campus for a softball game. I was amazed by the beauty of the campus and amount of fans sitting on the hill beyond the outfield. I knew then that this was a special place to be and I am still humbled that I get to call this place home now.

When I was in high school, I didn’t know how different colleges could be. I didn’t even know what it meant to receive a Liberal Arts education. Now I realize that I wouldn’t be the person I am today without that education. Students who get an education from a Liberal Arts institution become well-rounded people who can have intelligent conversations in a multitude of areas. If you experience this education, you will enhance your community with the service you can provide, and you will be sought after for employment because of your communication and critical thinking skills.

I am one of three members of my family with college degrees, so I didn’t have much guidance in the college admissions process. My hope is that I can make the college admissions process as enjoyable as possible for you. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns that you may have. I look forward to meeting you and helping you experience Berry College Firsthand!

My favorite part about Berry? I love how genuine and friendly everyone is at Berry! I always look forward to coming to work!

My best advice for prospective students? Tour as many college campuses as you can. Every institution is unique in its own way so get out there and find out for yourself.
