Application Procedure

The Berry Graduate Education application is to be completed online. The online application includes sections on personal, education and program information. In addition to these sections, you will be asked to submit your educational goal statement as part of the online process. The essay should be in narrative form of approximately 500 words and outline your goals in pursuing graduate study and professional teaching dispositions that you will bring to the program.

The following may be submitted by e-mail, fax or mail:

  • Transcripts

Graduate Transfer Credit
A maximum of three courses or nine semester hours of graduate transfer credit may be applied to the appropriate graduate program, provided:

  • the credit has been earned at a regionally accredited graduate institution within six years of the date on which the credit is approved
  • the courses to be transferred carry a grade of B or better and are approved by the appropriate graduate program director

Financial Aid
Berry College offers limited financial aid assistance to both full-time and part-time graduate students. Graduate students enrolled in at least six semester hours may be eligible for graduate assistantships which can greatly enhance their employability. Graduate assistantship information can be secured through the dean of academic services. Information on federal student loans is available in the financial aid office. The financial aid priority date is April 1. Applications for financial aid received after April 1 will be considered based on the availability of funds.
