I grew up in Fayetteville, GA and graduated from Fayette County High School. When I started my college search, I began to look at Berry. The more that I learned about the school, the more I could see myself as a Berry student. I chose Berry because I knew I would get an incredible education and amazing life experience.
My time as a Berry student was unforgettable and I would not trade it for anything in the world. I majored in Communication and minored in Sociology. I lived on campus every year and participated as much as possible in the many activities and events Berry offered, both on and off campus. I played intramural football and softball, I worked in the Campus Safety department, and I was involved in several different campus organizations and groups during my time here. I also got involved in programs in the Rome community. I made lifelong friends and many great memories. I graduated from Berry in the spring of 2005. Soon after that I married my husband, Brack, and this year we welcomed our son, Benton. I now live in Atlanta and work closely with students in the metro-Atlanta area.
I believe in the philosophy that Berry promotes and I have seen firsthand the incredible results of an education that strengthens your head, heart, and hands. At Berry, you will learn about yourself in so many ways. Your time here will be full of fun, challenges, growth, joy, and life experiences that will shape you into a better person. I am thankful for my time at Berry and look forward to sharing more with you.
