Hello, and thank you for considering Berry College. I
visited Berry for the first time during the summer before my senior year of
high school. I immediately knew I wanted to be a Berry Viking! After graduation
in May of 2013, I joined the Office of Admissions in July of 2013.
During my time at Berry, I majored in Psychology. I enjoyed
studying a field that I am passionate about and learning from professors who
truly cared about me and wanted to help me and see me succeed. I also
thoroughly enjoyed my student work experience on campus; I worked as a Resident
Assistant for two years and in the Office of Admissions for two years. The
experiences I had working in these departments helped tremendously in shaping
me into a more confident and stronger leader during my four years at Berry. I
learned through my different jobs on campus that not only did my professors
care about me and value building strong relationships with students, but so did
my work supervisors. Everyone on campus is genuinely friendly and committed to
helping students succeed.
In addition to being involved in my major and my jobs on
campus, I was also involved in Presidential Ambassadors and Intramurals on
campus. These opportunities provided me with so many different ways to meet new
people, make new friends, and have distinct experiences that I would have never
had otherwise. Whatever your hobbies or interests may be, there is certainly
something for everyone to get involved with and enjoy at Berry. Wherever you
find yourself involved you are bound to find caring faculty and staff who are
dedicated to helping students.
encourage you to visit our campus and see for yourself what a remarkable place
Berry College is!
