Admissions Requirements
To be considered for admission to Berry, a graduate school applicant must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

An applicant is considered for admission after all required credentials are received by the college admissions office. Prior college work, about which Berry College is uninformed at the time of the student's application for admission, will not be later accepted for graduate credit. Failure to report such work may also be grounds for dismissal.

Application Procedure
Complete the graduate application and submit along with a non-refundable $25 application fee, an official transcript from each college or university attended, two letters of recommendation (preferably from college professors) and appropriate graduate admissions test scores.

Application Deadline

Fall Semester : May 1
Spring Semester: October 1
Summer Semester: February 1

All application materials must be submitted by the deadline.

Graduate Transfer Credit
A maximum of three courses or nine semester hours of graduate transfer credit may be applied to the appropriate graduate program, provided

  1. the credit has been earned at a regionally accredited graduate institution within six years of the date on which the credit is approved;
  2. the courses to be transferred are approved by the appropriate graduate program director; and
  3. the courses to be transferred carry a grade of B or better.

Financial Aid
Berry College offers limited financial aid assistance to both full-time and part-time graduate students. Graduate students enrolled in at least six hours may be eligible for graduate assistantships which can greatly enhance their employability. Information on federal student loans is available in the financial-aid office; graduate assistantship information can be secured through the dean of academic services.

The priority date for receipt of all financial-aid forms is April 1 each year. Late applicants will be considered on a funds available basis.
