Fortunately, The Goizueta Foundation Scholars Fund, was still available to him again through financial aid. He has since raised his grade point average and regained his HOPE Scholarship. This spring, Gutierrez is studying abroad in Italy.

Gate Scholarships make it possible for students with a strong work ethic but limited financial resources to attend Berry with the chance of graduating debt free. Reginald Strickland (51C), is an 80-year-old alumnus so dedicated to helping Berry students that he continues to work in large part so that he can fund scholarships. Because opportunity both to set her dream in motion. And if one day she wins an Academy Award for costume design, Reg Strickland will top her list of those deserving great thanks.
