Building Features

  • Performance arena that seats up to 1,964 spectators for intercollegiate basketball and volleyball contests; floor seating increases capacity by several hundred for lectures and other college events; also converts into three recreational courts.
  • Natatorium with eight-lane, 25-yard pool and spectator seating; home to Berry’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs; also available for recreational and academic use.
  • Fitness center featuring an array of cardiovascular equipment, strength-training equipment and free weights.
  • Athletic training center for the treatment and rehabilitation of performance-related injuries among intercollegiate student-athletes.
  • Multi-activity court for recreational basketball, volleyball, badminton and indoor soccer.
  • Multipurpose space for kinesiology classes and extra-curricular offerings, including aerobics, spinning and yoga.
  • Two kinesiology classrooms, a poolside wet classroom and an exercise science lab for student experimentation and research.
  • Two racquetball courts.
  • Indoor 1/8-mile fitness track.
  • Locker rooms for women’s intercollegiate basketball and volleyball, men’s intercollegiate basketball, visiting teams, and officials, as well as general recreational locker rooms for use by the campus community.
  • Hall of Berry Sports History named for Berry sports pioneers Garland and Edward Dickey.
  • Home to intercollegiate and intramural/outdoor recreation programs as well as Department of Kinesiology
