Glen J. Barber Joins Berry Planned Giving Council
Rome, Ga. – Glen J. Barber, co-owner of Barber
Lackey Financial Group LLC, in Atlanta has joined the Berry College
Planned Giving Council. The council is a network of financial
professionals who provide advice and technical expertise on various
planned giving instruments and relevant laws, as well as individual
consultation regarding planned gift prospects. A resident of Woodstock,
Ga., Barber, is a 1991 Berry graduate.
“We are extremely pleased to have Glen join the council,” said
Scott Breithaupt, senior planned giving officer at Berry. “Glen is
committed to helping people achieve their financial goals, and that is
an important part of planned giving. His expertise will be an invaluable
resource for the council and the alumni whom we serve.”
A registered investment advisor, Barber formed Barber Lackey
Financial Group in 1999 with his wife, Jennifer, and his brother-in-law,
Tommy Lackey. Together, they possess more than 40 years of experience
in the financial industry.
Barber is a member of the National Association of Insurance and
Financial Advisors and the Atlanta Association of Insurance and
Financial Advisors. For five consecutive years, he has qualified for the
Million Dollar Round Table, an international organization representing
the top financial professionals in the industry.
