“To know that a donor has invested in my education pushes me to do better in both work and academics. It encourages me to do better because I’m not just here for myself.”

Scholarships
Every student has a unique story, and at Berry College, that story often begins with a donor who shares our belief in the trans-formative power of higher education. Martha Berry planted the seeds that would grow into Berry College in 1902 as a path from poverty for local children. Today, we honor her legacy by offering a wide range of scholarships, support for which is provided by alumni and friends who choose, through their giving, to open Berry's “Gate of Opportunity” to hundreds of students each year.
