Georgia Financial Aid Programs
Hope Scholarship - Legal residents of Georgia with a 3.0 grade point average in the core curriculum and declared HOPE Scholars by the state may apply for HOPE Scholarship by completing an application online. Students meeting the eligibility requirements as defined by the Georgia Student Finance Commission and are enrolled full time (12 or more hours per semester), will receive $3,600 per year. Students meeting the eligibility requirements as defined by the Georgia Student Finance Commission and are enrolled at least half time (6-11 hours per semester), may receive $900 per semester.
Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant - Legal residents of Georgia who are enrolled on a full-time basis (12 or more hours) may be eligible to receive $700 per academic year from the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant. Students must complete the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (GTEG) application online. The grant amount is determined by the state legislature each year.
