Georgia Financial Aid Programs
Hope Scholarship - Legal residents of Georgia with a 3.0 grade point average in the core curriculum and declared HOPE Scholars by the state may apply for HOPE Scholarship by completing an application online. Students meeting the eligibility requirements as defined by the Georgia Student Finance Commission and are enrolled full time (12 or more hours per semester), will receive$3,500 per year. Students meeting the eligibility requirements as defined by the Georgia Student Finance Commission and are enrolled at least half time (6-11 hours per semester), may receive $875 per semester.
Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant - Legal residents of Georgia who are enrolled on a full-time basis (12 or more hours) may be eligible to receive $1200 per academic year from the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant. Students must complete the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant (GTEG) application online. The grant amount is determined by the state legislature each year.
The PROMISE Teacher Scholarship - The PROMISE Teacher Scholarship Program, a component of Georgia's HOPE Scholarship Program, provides forgivable loans to high-achieving students who aspire to be teachers in Georgia public schools. For a four-year teaching commitment, you can receive up to $3,000/year for your Junior and Senior Years.
HOPE Teacher Scholarship – The HOPE Teacher Scholarship, a component of the Georgia’s HOPE program, provides, service-calculable loans to graduate students seeking advanced degrees in education.
