Achievements: Mr. Goodwin founded his own money management practice, Goodwin Investment Advisory, in 2004, just one year after graduating from Berry. The goal of his business is to generate the greatest return for clients while exposing them to the least amount of risk, thus making it possible for them to give back to their communities, schools, churches and charitable organizations.
In addition to his business activities, Mr. Goodwin also has formed an investment group of Berry graduates called “Million $ Missionaries” with the intent of corporately investing for future philanthropy.
He remains active at Berry, serving on the board of the Executive Round Table for the Campbell School of Business. He also enjoys interacting with students through business classes, career development seminars and the Berry Investment Group.
Mr. Goodwin and his wife, Maureen, were part of the launch team that started Watermark Church in 2005. They also support the growth and development of Kings Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta, Ga., where Maureen teaches. In addition, Mr. Goodwin advocates on behalf of impoverished children through Compassion International. The Goodwins reside in Canton, Ga.
