Chapter officers were present for a luncheon meeting at Calhoun’s Restaurant on Kingston Pike. Those present were: Joanna Richardson, President; Luci Bell, VP; Mary Guthrie, Secretary; Grace Johnson, Secretary; and Frances Barnett Historian. Peggy Tillery was present as a guest. Everyone expressed great joy at having Grave Johnson with us. Grace has missed a few meetings because of health issues.
The purpose of our meeting was to select locations and dates for out yearly chapter meetings. Following is a schedule of these events:
3/28---Lakeside Grill in Concord
5/30--- Chop House Restaurant in Kodak
7/18--- Flatwater Grill, Oak ridge
10/17--- Whitestone Inn, Kingston
Joanna attended the council meeting at Berry during Founders Day Weekend. She is a member of the Events Committee. She said they had discussed the Cage. Lucy said she would like for out chapter to have its named placed on a seat there. The chapter would need to send $1000 to Berry to have this done. Joanna said this will be discussed at our March meeting.
Frances, as Historian, is working on our chapter scrapbook and suggested that we bring her any pertinent items which we might have saved.
We were reminded to bring food items to our next meeting for the Second Harvest food bank.
The meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
Mary Guthrie
