Future Meetings: October 16,2008, Kelly's Restaurant: 6:00 PM March 2009. Child care will be provided for that meeting by Doris and Harlan Chapman. Money and food will be collected for The Salvation Army. March 2009 meeting, day and place to be announced later.

"Make A Difference Day" October 25,2008, reported by Harlan Chapman and Lenard Whaley. Alumni workers will meet for breakfast and fellowship at Shoney's, Cleveland Road, at 8 A.M. They will then go to The Salvation Army to deliver the donated, and purchased food, and work.
Tim Howard reported for the Scholarship Committee. He read a letter of appreciation for the scholarship received by Justin Ridley, the 15th recipient. He reminded the group that fifteen scholarship had been given, and three more would be given tonight. Scholarship recipients:
